What is Sexological Bodywork?
Sexological Bodyworkers are somatic sex educators.
The main difference between Sexological Bodywork and traditional Sex Therapy is that in traditional Sex Therapy the practitioner tells you what to do, while in Sexological Bodywork the practitioner can show you what to do so you can experience the practices and tools in real time in the session.
Instead of just talking about the problem, we work directly with your body to unlearn patterns and build practical skills.
This work helps your nervous system and sexuality align so you can experience more confidence, connection, and pleasure.
It’s educational, empowering, and tailored to individuals and couples who want real, embodied change.
Sexological Bodywork is experiential, body-based support.
If you're experiencing:
- Erection or ejaculation difficulties
- Painful sex

- Shame, fear, or anxiety around sex
- Disconnection from your body

- Numbness, tension, or shutdown during intimacy
This work provides embodied, practical skills for change that aligns with your erotic goals.
Let's learn the language of your body, together.

Testimonials
Taylor's Sexological Bodywork sessions were safely held, leaving me feeling empowered to create new rituals that honour my sexual essence. I came in with a concern that I felt shame and 'abnormal' about - and Taylor's extensive knowledge paired with the surrounding social context for women really took that all away, making me feel like my problems weren't so uncommon after all. Her experience as a counsellor, combined with her passion for pleasure + sex education is a high-value combo that has put me on a totally new path. I no longer feel held back by my sexual past and am embracing a future of 'orgasmicity' in just 3 sessions! Thank you for your sensitivity, guidance and celebrating my journey - I hope many more people get to experience this transformation with you!

FAQ
Sexological bodywork is a trauma-informed, body-based modality that supports people to deepen connection with their bodies, sensations, boundaries, and sexual wellbeing. Sessions may include guided practices, breathwork, movement, communication exercises, and (when appropriate and consensual) one-way touch for educational or therapeutic purposes.
Sexological bodywork can support a wide range of experiences, including:
- Low desire or difficulty accessing pleasure
- Sexual shame or disconnection from the body
- Sexual function challenges (erection, ejaculation, painful sex, pre-orgasmia)
- Postpartum pelvic care
- Scarring
- Challenges with arousal, orgasm, or sensation
- Healing after sexual trauma
- Exploring boundaries, consent, and communication
- Deepening intimacy for individuals or couples
Each session is tailored to your needs, intentions, and comfort level.
Sessions usually begin with conversation to understand your intentions, boundaries, and needs. From there, we may explore practices such as breath, movement, embodiment exercises, nervous system regulation, or touch — depending on what feels aligned for you. You are always in choice, and nothing happens without your explicit consent.
No. Touch is never required. Sexological bodywork can be deeply impactful without physical touch, and many sessions focus on awareness, language, sensation, and internal experience. Touch is only included if it feels supportive and is something you actively want.
Yes. I work with individuals and couples. Couples sessions may focus on communication, boundaries, intimacy, embodied presence, or exploring new ways of relating and pleasuring one another - always at a pace that feels supportive for both people.
Unlike talk-based therapy, sexological bodywork works directly with the body and sensation. Unlike massage, it is not about relaxation or fixing the body, but about awareness, learning, and relationship to sensation, pleasure, and choice. It sits at the intersection of somatic therapy, sexuality education, and embodiment practice.
Sexological bodywork is for people of all genders, sexualities, and relationship structures who are curious about their bodies and inner experience. You don’t need to have a “problem” or something to "fix" (though this is welcome too). The work can be supportive for exploration, healing, or deepening intimacy with yourself or others.
